Western Tennessee Beauty

During a recent business trip to Tennessee, I needed to stay over the weekend.  An opportunity to get out and do some sight-seeing presented itself so I drove out to Reelfoot Lake and found a beautiful wildlife waterfowl preservation area.  On my way there, I found a lot of opportunities for some photography.

I went back the next morning early.  The birds were already off the roost and doing some fishing.  I really wish I would have had a longer lens.  The white Egrets wouldn't let me get within 150 yards of them.  I did manage to sneak up on a few birds but not many.  I caught this one fishing.  He was so intensely watching the water, he didn't see me sneak up through the weeds.
Sandhill Crane (maybe)
Fresh catch.  I think this is a Sandhill Crane but I'm not sure.  He/she just caught a baby Gar.

I have no idea what these birds are but they were very beautiful.
